If not for the early access excuse, these games would have been forced to release, and as such be held to the standard of a 1.0 release.
Being in perpetual early access has given devs an excuse for their games to be buggy, unbalanced, missing features, lacking endgame, and have a host of other technical issues. I'm tired of games never reaching 1.0, or reaching 1.0 in an unfinished state.
There is a reason I've stopped buying early access games years ago.
